I bought this little devil out of curiosity – because the stated torque is big. I thought it was bigger in size (who reads the specs : -)))). When I received it (very fast shipping) and I realized how small it is, I decided to test it. I connected to its shaft a 3 x 3 mm flexible shaft coupler (Banggood Product ID: 993316) and from there, using a piece of rope, I hung a bag wherein I gradually added loads to find the motor’s torque limit. The coupler’s radius is R = 1 cm, so the torque in each case, as the motor was turning and the winding rope was lifting the load, was: Torque = R x load. I ended the test at a load of 1,5 Kg, which means that the torque was 1,5 Kg.cm – and the motor did the job. Fantastic. Note that the test setup is not fully proper, because as the load was hanging from the shaft coupler that was protruding (supported only to one end), apart from the torque to the axis of the motor, also a not at all negligible bending moment was applied to the axis and transferred to the reduction gear. In a proper laboratory test, the shaft coupler should be supported at both ends and this additional bending moment should not be present. The no load current is 0,04 A, the current under load gradually increases as the load increases and is higher than 0,07 A – but this is normal. Conclusion: Buy it. This is a really high torque. At this price, not to mention the size, I don’t think you’ll find something better. Thank you Banggood. 5 to 5.
